What does BlanketByte build?
Complete software products: iOS and Android apps, customer-facing web apps, the admin panel your team works in, the backend API they all share, and the infrastructure underneath. We also build MCP servers so AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can work with your product. We run six products of our own built the same way, including Piccola, Gancio, Poofbox and SyncStock.
Can you add a mobile app, API or admin panel to a product we already have?
Yes. If you already have a web app, we can add the missing layer, such as a native mobile app, a documented API, an admin panel or an MCP server, and fit it to the stack you have. We can also take over an existing product, stabilise its infrastructure and keep shipping features.
What is an MCP server, and does my product need one?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read and act on data in other apps. An MCP server for your product lets your users ask their assistant to do things in your app, with OAuth sign-in and permissions they control. If your users already work with AI assistants, it is a fast way to make your product part of that workflow. More on MCP server development.
Do you build Shopify apps?
Yes. We built and run SyncStock, a shared-inventory app live on the Shopify App Store, with webhooks, multi-location stock, Shopify Billing and minimal permissions. More on Shopify app development.
